Irmo is known for our trees and parks that are tucked throughout the Town limits. The Town of Irmo owns and maintains four beautiful parks,
Community Park of Irmo,
Irmo Town Park,
Rawls Creek Park, and
Irmo Veterans’ Park.
Our parks are open from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. daily and are free for public use.
Please note: Rental facilities (Picnic Shelters, Gazebo, Prisma Health Amphitheater) are on a first-come, first-serve basis unless it has been reserved. All fees and contracts
must be paid and completed before the facility is considered reserved.

Irmo Community Park
This is the home of the famous Okra Strut Festival. Some of the amenities include Prisma Health Amphitheater, two picnic shelters with BBQ grills, walking trails along with playgrounds and restrooms that are close by.

The Gazebo is nestled among lush gardens and is home to our Annual Christmas Tree Lightning. It is a perfect location for weddings and is available for reservations.

Irmo Veterans’ Park is dedicated to our faithful Veterans. It includes a walking trail with gym equipment along the path so you can enjoy the outdoors and get in a workout or simply read a good book.
