ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the Phase II of the Rawls Creek Park will be received by the Town of Irmo at the Irmo Town Hall located at 7300 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC 29063, until 2:00 pm local time on April 6, 2023, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of the construction of restroom facilities, trellis and concrete apron and associated water and wastewater services, existing electrical shed refurbishment, and new park signage for the new Rawls Creek Park located in Irmo, SC.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a line item basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Hybrid Engineering, Inc. 7400 Irmo Drive, Columbia, SC 29212, Tel.: 803.407.0472, Fax: 803.407.0473, Contact: Susan C. Clary, E-mail: sclary@hybrideng.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at the local iSqFt Plan Room; the office of the Town of Irmo at the Irmo Town Hall Complex located at 7300 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC 29063, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of $25 for each set. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Hybrid Engineering, Inc. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
