Rawls Creek Dog Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The Town of Irmo will officially open the Rawls Creek Dog Park by holding a short ribbon cutting on November 30th, 2023, at 10 am.
This new dog park for the Town of Irmo features a large dog park and a small dog park for our dogs of any size providing a safe place for our animals to mingle and exercise. The dog park also features secure access with membership to hydration stations, benches, waste stations, and natural shade from the surrounding trees.
The Rawls Creek Dog Park is situated in the Friarsgate subdivision and is located at 1113 Friarsgate Boulevard. This dog park is part of a larger project to bring a community garden, walking trails, playground, dog park, and skate park to the heart of Irmo’s largest neighborhood. The Town of Irmo remains committed to providing beautiful and relaxing green spaces for all to enjoy.
This project is a partnership between the Town of Irmo and the Richland County Recreation Commission with grant assistance from the South Carolina Park, Recreation, and Tourism PARD Program.
